Dream Job-a-Rama
What do you want to be when you grow up? It’s a question that every child gets asked almost the moment they begin to speak. Shalom Family, an initiative of The Mayerson Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio, decided to host an interactive job fair just for kids to give them the chance to learn about the numerous career opportunities available to them in the future.
It only took a second for us to connect this fun theme with the iconic Game of Life board game. We knew the design would be instantly recognizable to the parents (the decision makers) and the bright, whimsical illustration would be instantly relatable to kids (the real decision makers!) We designed the cover of the invitation to resemble the game’s box top, and created a vertical tri-fold so it would open to reveal an entire game board. This event attracted close to 700 children and their parents from the Jewish community.
