Superhero Hanukkah
Understandably, the most popular events for Jewish families are during Hanukkah. But how many potato pancake dinners can you have in one community? Each year, we were challenged to come up with an even bigger, better Hanukkah event than the year before for Shalom Family, an initiative of The Mayerson Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. But how would we be able to top our past string of successes such as Funukkah, the Pirate and Princess Potato Pancake Party, Frozen: A Festival of Lights Ice Skating Spectacular, the Jump ‘N Jelly Donut Jam and so many others? Our team put our heads together and came up with what would become our all-time most popular Hanukkah event, Superhero Hanukkah.
Of course we couldn’t resist making invitation to resemble a superhero comic book. The bright colors, fun illustrations and tongue-in-cheek copy helped us attract record crowds.
